As we announced on social media channels yesterday afternoon, we have had to switch this FA Vase First Qualifying Round fixture from the ArcOframe Stadium to our opponents’ home ground at the Brian Boys West View Stadium, Cowtoot Lane, Blackthorn, Bacup, Lancashire OL13 8EE and regret any inconvenience this may cause.
This is due to reasons linked to the coronavirus pandemic, particularly the fact that the owners of our home ground are unable to provide all the facilities necessary for us to host this fixture, as our opponents and we would ordinarily expect.
Whilst this is a disappointment for us, we are grateful to Bacup Borough Football Club for offering to switch the fixture at such short notice and thus ensuring that the match goes ahead on time.
However, this means that all tickets purchased online are no longer valid and everyone that did purchase a ticket has received an email from TicketCo, our ticketing partner, regarding the refund that is now due to them.
Kick-off today at Bacup remains at 3pm and spectators will be able to pay at the entrance gate as this is now no longer an all-ticket game.
