Pilkington Football Club operates within a framework of rules, policies, regulations and codes of conduct that govern and provide structure to the club.  They are designed to create the right safe, inclusive and respectful environment, both on and off the pitch, for each of our members – whether they be a player, club official, coach, manager, spectator, parent/carer or volunteer.

SAFEGUARDING

Every child or young person who plays or participates in football should be able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse.

It is the Club's responsibility to endorse and adhere to The Football Association's Safeguarding Children Policy.  Details of this and other regulations that we as a Club uphold are available from the 'safeguarding' section on The FA's website.

COVID-19

The Club is committed to the implementation of safe and effective social distancing and cleaning routines in line with Government advice and guidelines to limit the potential spread of COVID-19.

The Club’s appointed COVID-19 Officer is Keith Griffiths.

Club activities are carried out in line with the Government’s guidance on the phased return of sport and recreation, The FA’s guidance for re-starting outdoor competitive grassroots football and for teams competing in the men’s National League System and the following risk assessments which are subject to continuous review, and update where necessary, by the Club.
