Sponsorship Packages
Promoting your company through local football sponsorship is not only cost-effective but can also provide positive PR.
Pilkington FC has a long-standing history in St Helens but it is becoming increasingly difficult to survive at the standard we have played at for the last 50 years. The running costs are around £14,000 each year and most of this comes from the player’s own pockets. The club receives no financial help from Pilkington Glass, and in fact, the club pays the company over £6000 per season for the hire of Ruskin Drive facilities.
We currently have three teams. The first and reserve teams play in the Cheshire League that attracts teams and supporters from Cheshire, Manchester and Warrington and St Helens. The third team play in the local league and attracts teams and supporters from St Helens.

An invoice will be supplied with any sponsorship package booked.
Club Sponsorship
You are able to become the official Sponsor of Pilkington AFC for the 2010/2011 season at a cost of £1500. For this you will receive the following:

A full page advertisement in the matchday programme for every 1st team home game |

A press release and photo placed in the local press. |

Reserve Kit Sponsorship
You are able to have your logo/message printed on the reserve team home kit for two seasons at a cost of £450.00.
Matchday Sponsor
For every 1st team home game we offer matchday sponsorship at £25 per game. As well as an advert in the programme, the sponsor will also be mentioned in the match report if published in the local press and on our website.
Matchday sponsors can block book the whole season (20 games) for £425.00. If this was taken up, in addition to the above, we will display a sign on the dressing rooms displaying the Match Sponsor and create a free page on our website for the sponsor to advertise with a link through to their own website.
Also, if the sponsor supplies a banner, then this would be displayed at every Cheshire League home game (including 20 reserves games as well).
Matchball Sponsor
For every 1st team home game we offer matchball sponsorship at £10 per game. As well as a small advert in the programme, the sponsor will also be published on our website.
Matchball sponsors can block book the whole season (20 games) for a reduced price of £150.00.
Also, if the sponsor supplies a banner, then this would be displayed at every Cheshire League home game (including 20 reserves games as well).
Programme Advertising
Advertising Space can be bought within the matchday programme. Advertising space is sold on the basis of 1/12 of the page costing £5 per match (or a block booking fee of £75 per season). Advertisers can obtain more space for bigger advertisements by purchasing 2 x 1/12 spaces, etc. We offer a free artwork creation service for any advertisement booked.
Matchday Banners
Matchday Banners (4M x 1M) can be purchased at a cost of £350 per season. We offer a free artwork creation service and each banner will be displayed at every Cheshire League home game (approx 40 games in total).
